As a part of Dimbola’s revamp of its permanent Festivals
Exhibition.
We designed and installed a photo-montage (over ten metres in
length ) of Charles’ 1970 Isle of Wight Festival photographs creating
a time-line frieze which includes photos capturing the majority of the artists’ performances during the festival.
The refreshed Festival Room was officially re-launched by Radio DJ and presenter Andy Peebles on Friday 4th October 2013.
In addition, amongst the other photos/ posters and memorabilia on
permanent display there are three framed prints from Charles’ festival archive.
